New Products20th Febuary 2012 17th January 2012 We have Bermuda atlantis water features in silver, black and rattan finishes at £99 inc the pump and led lights, these fantastic water features were £199 last summer and look very impressive indoors or outdoors. Our range of 2012 fibreglass ponds are now in stock and out on display, with the daily arrival of new products in store this is set to be one of our best years yet. Keep an eye out for some new koi food ranges, pond vacs, special offer pond pumps and more choice of pond fish and koi than you have ever seen!
Remember to change to medikoi wheatgerm food for the winter and pack away the summer foods. With the continuing warm weather for this time of year your koi and pondfish will still be looking for food which makes it even more important to feed wheatgerm food before it turns cold. Please talk to us in store for advice of changing foods for the winter. 14th november 2011 This week we saw the arrival of some great new products arrive in store. The new Moray internal filter from A1 offers a really good quality internal at a sensible price, these are both quiet running and offer lots of media which will ensure clear water and a healthy enviroment for your fish. We also saw the launch of the nano 25 aquarium priced at £49.99, this great little aquarium includes a well designed filter and smart overtop light. in the couple of days that we have had these aquariums we have seen many sold to customers looking to keep smaller types of fish in particular the stunning siamese fighters we have for sale at the moment. Aquatics TalkIt had been some time since i had the chance to work on a weekend at our wellington store. With the recent arrival of my three young children my weekends tend to be filled up with trips to birthday parties and play areas. It was a great chance to talk to customers at the Wellington branch many of which i remember from the early days of opening some thirteen years ago! Many thanks to everyone who came in, we were kept very busy catching fish. It was very encouraging to see so many customers keeping fish and adding some really interesting new fish to their aquariums. the red eagle discus, panda platy, neon blue guppy and denisonii barb were all very popular as was the new arrival of zebra plecs. These are the first zebra plecs we have seen for nearly ten years and although commanding a high price it is nice to see customers getting the chance to see them in the flesh. The new "air toys" featuring trains and rotating windmills powered by a simple air pump proved very popular last week with many being sold to families with excited children and some excited older kids too! The launch of Aquapacifics "Tap safe health" was eagerly recieved by customers, offering great dosing rates and sensible prices made it a real winner with customers this week. our shops have now moved over to this tap safe product. please ask any member of our team when your next in store for this great new product. Much of my time is spent finding the very best livestock from breeders right across the world then safely importing into the UK and into our own quarantine house which is fully bio secure. once the fish are fully rested and feeding well they are packed and driven to our shops by our own drivers where they are carefully released into our sales tanks. with some really exciting fish booked and due in over the next 4 weeks our customers will be spoilt for choice which fish to have in their aquariums ready for Christmas. with some really good offers on many aquarium sets at the moment i expect there will be some shiney new aquariums in customers homes too this year.
